Syncoply is committed to protecting your rights and providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all users. Our terms and conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and guidelines for the use of the Syncoply app and the relationship between our users and Syncoply.

1. Who Can Use Our App

Syncoply is intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age (or the minimum age required by law in your region). By signing up, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

 

2. Account Requirements

To create an account in the app once it launches, users will need to provide accurate personal information (such as a valid email address). False, misleading, or incomplete information may result in denial or termination of access.

 

3. Key Features & Functionalities

Syncoply is being developed to provide users with new ways to connect through music. 

AI-generated content, profiles, recommendations, insights, or summaries provided by Syncoply are for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered factual, professional, psychological, or medical advice.

Syncoply does not guarantee that users will make connections, receive messages, discover compatible users, achieve social, friendship, networking, or music discovery outcomes, or experience any particular result from using the service.

 

4. Updates & Changes

We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features, functionality, content, or portions of the service at any time. We may also redesign or change how the service operates. Where appropriate, notifications about significant changes will be shared with registered users.

We reserve the right to modify the service, its features, availability, design, functionality, or business model at any time.

 

5. Pricing, Paid Features & Subscription Services

Syncoply may offer free and paid features, subscriptions, premium services, or other paid offerings now or in the future. We reserve the right to introduce, modify, discontinue, or charge fees for any feature, functionality, or portion of the service at any time. Any applicable pricing, subscription terms, billing details, or renewal terms will be clearly communicated to users before charges are applied. Continued use of paid services will be subject to acceptance of the applicable pricing and terms.

​Certain features that are currently available for free may become paid features in the future.

6. Responsibility for Content & Interactions

Users are responsible for their own activity, messages, and interactions on Syncoply. We encourage respectful communication and reserve the right to remove content that violates laws, community guidelines, or harms others.

7. User Safety & Offline Interactions

Syncoply may enable users to discover, communicate with, or interact with other users. Any interactions, meetings, or communications between users are solely their responsibility. Syncoply does not conduct background checks, verify user identities, or guarantee the conduct, intentions, or accuracy of information provided by users. Users should exercise caution and good judgment when interacting with others both online and offline.

Users assume all risks associated with communicating, meeting, or interacting with other users through the service.

 

8. Availability of Service

We strive to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that Syncoply will be available at all times or operate without interruptions, delays, errors, or technical issues. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, security, or other operational reasons.

9. Ownership of Content

All branding, text, graphics, and technology remain the property of Syncoply. User-generated content (such as profiles, messages, or shared media) remains the property of the user, but by posting it, you grant Syncoply a limited license to display and operate it within the app.

 

10. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in harmful behavior, or misuse the service.

 

11. Indemnification

By using Syncoply, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Syncoply and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your interactions with others, or your violation of these Terms.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

Syncoply is provided “as is.” We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on the content.

 

13. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Location Services

Certain features of Syncoply may rely on location data. Users may choose whether to enable location services; however, disabling location access may limit functionality. While Syncoply takes reasonable measures to protect user privacy, we cannot guarantee that location-based features will be completely free from inaccuracies or unintended disclosures.

Users are responsible for managing their own location-sharing settings and understanding the visibility options available within the service.

16. Third-Party Content & Services

Syncoply may display, link to, or integrate with third-party services, platforms, content, or media. Such content remains the property of its respective owners. Syncoply is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services, and use of such services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Syncoply does not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party content, products, services, or websites.

 

17. Beta Features

Certain features may be released as beta, test, preview, or early-access versions. These features may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete functionality. Users acknowledge that beta features are provided for evaluation purposes and may be modified, suspended, removed, or replaced at any time without notice.
